Can you share SQM configuration. I want to decrease the priority of my torrent server but unfortunately I am unable to do so. Torrent server takes over all the bandwidth.

SQM is supposed to be automatically reserving bandwidth for all application without any additional settings.
SQM bandwidth value < ISP Subscription Data Throughput.
Eg. If you have a 100Mbps ISP Plan you should set SQM upload and download to 100Mbps.
For my benchmark I just max out the SQM Bandwidth settings to see the max bandwidth it can process.
If you want to change priority of a process you can use "renice" command.

By the way SQM is disabled by default you need to manually enable it at StartUp Services in LuCI

Thanks for your reply. I have been doing above both. On most places I have seen people saying to put 95% of your actual bandwidth value. Are you using 100% value. Do you have more detail about Queueing discipline and queueing scripts?

Also is there any extension for Luci for IGMP proxy.

Hi, my benchmark is suppose to show the maximum throughput possible with SQM enabled, meaning that if your ISP subscription has a higher bandwidth performance will be limited by the router with SQM enabled.
In actual use SQM should be set lower than the Subscribed bandwidth.

Unfortunately there is no GUI for igmpproxy you have to configure it via CLI

Hi,

I have a 1043ND v2 router with the latest OpenWrt CC. I would like to use SQM or QoS-scripts but I can't get over 100-110MBps bandwidth. Do you have any tricks or tips how can increase the SQM bandwidth?

Overclock the router, reference my mips74kc patches to build your optimized image

Thanks. I was trying to build, but there was an error. It couldn't download the Linaro GCC toolchain. I modified the url http://releases.linaro.org/15.06/components/toolchain/gcc-linaro/ and after I can download the latest linaro gcc.

The error:

Guys sry forgot to update the URL it should be 15.06 instead of 14.11.
Because I cached the download sources didn't hit the error.
Pushed the fix =)
